Blackpool Pleasure Beach reached out to It’s Gone Viral last year before the launch of its adrenaline-pumping ride, Icon. The client wanted us to promote the new ride to potential thrillseekers through social media.

OUR SOLUTION

We sent three members of our production team down to the resort to film a unique experience that could be perfectly captured for the social media stratosphere. With our expertise, we posted this under the guise of a regular viral video, helping bolster the overall reach of the post and ensuring on opening day the queues were out the door.

The video reached 2.4 million people, and got over 1 million views. The main demographic reached was women aged between 35-44, amassing over 5300 comments paired up with over 6300 shares. With the help of social media, this helped hundreds of people through the door on the day of it’s opening to the public.
