THE BRIEF

During the 2019 Formula E season, we were given the opportunity to promote Formula E to a new audience. They wanted to target a younger audience than their typical watcher.

 

OUR SOLUTION

We worked in conjunction with another Agency to promote a live commentary show for 5 races over the 2018-2019 season.. This included Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Chile, Hong Kong and China as host cities. KOMI streamed the show live to our popular Facebook page “It’s Gone Viral”, leveraging an audience that would not be typical watchers of Formula E, appealing in a relatable way.

We additionally created several teaser clips throughout the season to promote races with highlights and best moments from previous races.

WHAT WE DELIVERED

Across the 5 races, we reached over 1m people via Facebook live. Over 8,000 engaged in the post and it drummed up lots of excitement and intrigue for the sport. The live show was in the national press and it was a very exciting project for us to be involved in.
