THE BRIEF

We were brought into help raise awareness and gain additional entries for the Mars Petcare Comedy Pet Photo Awards 2020 and spread the key message of ending pet homelessness in the UK with Mars and Blue Cross.

OUR SOLUTION

KOMI’s main involvement in the campaign was to gain additional entries for the competition and so implemented a three-pronged campaign across multiple KOMI brands that included; an article informing our audiences about the competition; a branded video explaining how to enter the competition; and multiple Facebook and Instagram stories which included a swipe up link for our audiences to enter the competition.

As well as spreading awareness about the competition, another important part of the campaign was spreading one of Mars Petcare’s key messages. Mars Petcare had teamed up with Blue Cross to help end pet homelessness in the UK and  spreading this message was equally as important as gaining votes.

All content that was psuhed to social audiences included incredibly easy CTA links to help maximise entries in to the Mars competition.

WHAT WE DELIVERED

In the 11 days that we worked on the campaign, our video had a global reach of over 1m people, our article had reached over 500k people and most impressively and importantly, we gained The Mars Petcare Comedy Pet Photo Awards 2020 an additional 500+ entries.
