THE BRIEF

Zombie Infection is a live-action zombie experience with up to 30 actors at a time creating the ultimate zombie experience. We were tasked with creating a campaign to drive interest and bookings for the event.

OUR SOLUTION

We created the idea to come up with the first live interactive horror-themed game on Facebook for the client. The audience decided the fate of a survivor at the beginning of a zombie outbreak, choosing which actions and decisions to make along the way in this interactive experience. The game was staged on It’s Gone Viral’s main Facebook page and in partnership with Zombie Infection. The format worked perfectly for Facebook where thousands of people can vote on a decision all at the same time, and create incredible engagement rates and incredibly interactive and immersive experience. KOMI production team were responsible for pre-recording every possible outcome prior to their live stream and putting it together for the Live event on Facebook.

WHAT WE DELIVERED

It attracted 1,400 concurrent viewers for the whole broadcast with a total viewership of almost 50,000 people. The response was phenomenal with the press covering the story and the client commenting they had seen a direct increase in booking s as a result.
